🀝 Bandit Shared Staking Pool

The Bandit Shared Staking Pool is a hassle-free way for Zano holders - especially mobile users and those with smaller balances. To participate in staking and earn rewards without the need for running a full node.

Why Use the Bandit Shared Staking Pool?

πŸ”Ή Stake from Any Device – Mobile-friendly and accessible from anywhere.
πŸ”Ή No Technical Setup – No need to run a full node or manage uptime.
πŸ”Ή Fair and Transparent – Fully auditable pool with clear reward tracking.
πŸ”Ή Compound Your Rewards – Reinvest earnings to maximize returns.

How It Works

1. Deposit Zano into the Staking Pool

Users can stake any amount of Zano, even small balances that would otherwise be inefficient for solo staking.

2. Earn Rewards Based on Your Stake

Rewards are distributed proportionally based on the amount staked and the total pool balance.

  • View real-time staking rates and estimated earnings.
  • Track your contributions and claimable rewards.

3. Withdraw Anytime

  • Users can request a withdrawal at any time, sending their Zano back to their personal wallet.
  • Minimal fees apply to maintain the pool and ensure sustainability.

Understanding Pool Metrics

The staking pool dashboard displays several key metrics to help you understand the pool's status and your potential earnings. Here's what each metric means:

Total Pool Balance

The Total Pool Balance represents the current amount of Zano available in the staking pool at any given time. This balance fluctuates as users deposit and withdraw their staked Zano. The pool balance directly impacts the pool's staking power and ability to find blocks, which determines the rewards distributed to participants.

A larger pool balance generally means:

  • Higher staking power and more frequent block discoveries
  • More stable and predictable reward distribution
  • Better efficiency for all participants

Current Rate

The Current Rate shows the annualized percentage return (APR) you can expect to earn from staking in the pool. This rate is calculated based on:

  • The pool's recent block discovery frequency
  • The total amount staked in the pool
  • Network difficulty and staking requirements

The rate is dynamic and updates in real-time as the pool's performance changes. It represents the estimated annual return if current conditions persist, though actual returns may vary based on network conditions and pool performance.

Total Earned

Total Earned displays the cumulative rewards that have been distributed to all pool participants since the pool's inception. This metric helps you understand:

  • The historical performance of the pool
  • The total value generated for stakers
  • The pool's track record of generating rewards

When this shows "No data," it typically means the pool is new or rewards haven't been distributed yet. As blocks are found and rewards are distributed, this metric will update to reflect the total earnings.

Total Staked

Total Staked represents the combined amount of Zano that all participants have deposited into the staking pool. This includes:

  • All active stakes from individual users
  • Stakes that are currently earning rewards
  • The collective staking power of the entire pool

This metric is important because it shows the scale of participation and helps you understand your proportional share of the pool. Your rewards are calculated based on your stake relative to the total staked amount.

Estimated Time to Find the Block

The Estimated Time to Find the Block provides an approximation of how long it might take for the pool to discover the next block and earn staking rewards. This estimate is calculated based on:

  • The pool's total staking power
  • Current network difficulty
  • Historical block discovery patterns

This is an estimate and actual block discovery times can vary significantly due to the probabilistic nature of proof-of-stake block discovery. Shorter estimated times generally indicate higher staking power and more frequent reward opportunities.

Auditable Wallet

The Auditable Wallet is the public wallet address where the staking pool's funds are held. This address is:

  • Publicly visible on the Zano blockchain explorer
  • Fully auditable by anyone
  • Transparent for verification purposes

You can use this address to:

  • Verify the pool's balance on the blockchain
  • Track all transactions in and out of the pool
  • Ensure transparency and trust in the staking pool operations

The wallet address is truncated in the interface for display purposes, but the full address can be viewed on the blockchain explorer for complete transparency.
